Meet Our Founder
From a young age, Juan Manuel Silva felt called to the practice of law after witnessing firsthand how legal challenges impact lives, families, and futures. Those early experiences shaped his deep commitment to justice, accountability, and advocacy rooted in empathy. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with highest honor, from Georgia State University, along with a minor in Psychology. He worked his way though his undergraduate studies as a case manager at an Atlanta law firm. This role allowed him to assist individuals during some of their most vulnerable moments and solidified his purpose to serve others through diligent and compassionate legal representation. He later earned his Juris Doctorate, with honors, from the University of Georgia School of Law. While in law school, he litigated cases through the Criminal Defense Clinic at the Western Circuit Public Defender's Office where he earned the Outstanding Legal Defense Clinic Student Award.
After law school, Attorney Silva practiced general litigation at a Decatur-based firm, handling matters ranging from business and contract disputes to criminal defense, premises liability, and personal injury. He went on to develop substantial experience in high-stakes insurance litigation, often advocating for injured individuals against well-funded and aggressive opponents. He is frequently consulted by fellow attorneys and has been invited to lecture on trial topics for continuing legal education. Attorney Silva is guided by the belief that every client deserves high-quality legal representation regardless of background, language, or circumstance. Fluent in Spanish, he is especially passionate about serving the Hispanic community and expanding access to justice. Outside the courtroom, he enjoys running, playing golf, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.
